About Mostafa

Mostafa Shafiei Rezvaninejad is the founder of Voice of Akash, an independent creative and research project devoted to exploring the relationship between sound, perception, embodiment, and human wellbeing.

His work exists at the intersection of art, therapeutic practice, psychology, craftsmanship, and contemplative inquiry. Rather than approaching sound simply as music or therapy, he explores it as a language capable of shaping the way we experience ourselves, others, and the world around us.

Over the years, this exploration has evolved into an integrative practice that combines acoustic instruments, therapeutic touch, breath, movement, original musical compositions, and mindful attention to create experiences that invite presence, curiosity, and deeper listening.

The Work

Voice of Akash is expressed through several interconnected fields that continue to evolve together rather than exist as separate disciplines.

  • Integrative Wellness — The development of immersive experiences that combine therapeutic touch, sound, breath, movement, meditation, and somatic awareness into a unified practice.
  • Sound & Therapeutic Listening — Individual and group experiences using singing bowls, handpan, flutes, gongs, chimes, voice, and other acoustic instruments to explore attention, presence, and the subtle relationship between vibration and perception.
  • Original Music — Composition of therapeutic sound collections designed to accompany meditation, bodywork, relaxation, and contemplative practice.
  • Instrument Design — The creation and refinement of handcrafted acoustic instruments that encourage exploration, creativity, and meaningful interaction with sound.
  • Education & Facilitation — Workshops, retreats, lectures, and immersive experiences focused on listening, embodiment, creativity, and human wellbeing.

Philosophy

Sound has accompanied humanity long before language. It shapes emotion, attention, memory, and the way we experience space, ourselves, and one another.

Rather than viewing sound as entertainment or as a technique to be applied, Mostafa approaches it as a medium for inquiry — a way of observing perception, cultivating presence, and reconnecting with the intelligence of the body.

Meaningful transformation rarely comes from a single method. It emerges through the thoughtful integration of multiple perspectives that invite people into a deeper relationship with themselves.

Research & Exploration

For more than seven years, Mostafa has independently explored the relationship between sound, psychology, somatic awareness, mindfulness, and human perception.

His studies include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy, contemplative practices, nervous system regulation, and embodied awareness. Rather than treating these disciplines as isolated systems, he investigates how they may complement one another in understanding human experience.

Original Creations

  • The Listening Body — A digital publication exploring the relationship between sound, perception, somatic awareness, and the human experience.
  • Frequency Works Collection — An original series of musical compositions created for contemplative practice, bodywork, meditation, and immersive listening experiences.
  • Integrative Sound & Body Practice — An evolving multidisciplinary approach that brings together sound, therapeutic touch, breath, movement, psychology, and mindful awareness into a unified experience.

Vision

Voice of Akash is an independent research and creative project dedicated to exploring the role of sound in human life.

Through writing, original music, handcrafted instruments, educational resources, and immersive experiences, the project seeks to bridge artistic expression, psychology, contemplative practice, and embodied awareness.

Rather than promoting a fixed method or philosophy, Voice of Akash encourages curiosity, careful listening, and direct experience — creating spaces where sound becomes a medium for presence, creativity, reflection, and authentic human connection.
